A table played an important role in mythology of all nations: it was the centre of the Universe, a kind of altar, and the exposition is an attempt to prove it. Here you will see both traditional tables with legs and suspension and ritual ones made of wood and metal in 18-20th centuries by different nations of Russia. Besides, the exhibition shows pots and pans of every sort and kind.
