The American Literature Hall was initiated by the USA Consulate General. A special grant was given by the USA Government to purchase a new book collection and video materials, as well as necessary facilities for the hall. Besides, the library received a big book collection (1500 thousand books) formerly stored in the Information Resources Centre of the USA Consulate General.

The American Literature Hall will provide you with any information about the United States. Also cultural and educational programs will be realised, comprising demonstration of movies, meetings with American teaches, politicians, lectors, writers.
