For the first time it happened last year. Participants included dancers from the American Ballet Theatre, the Royal Ballet of Great Britain, and the Moscow Bolshoy Theatre.
This time audiences will see the performance of Vladimir Malakhov of the American Ballet Theatre and ballet stars from France, who have never danced in Russia. Mariinsky's own ballet troupe will also participate.
