The building was created in 1822 under the project of Karl Rossi and as a result of the imperial Alexandr I demand.
Pavilion is situated at the Eastern ending of Yelagin Island at a palce of the Neva river pass on two sleeves, Srednaya and Malaya Nevki. The building restoration was accomplished by craftsmen of “Maintenance. Restoration. Reconstruction., ltd.” company, with funds provided by “The World Monument Fund”.
