Day of memory will begin from laying on wreaths on a place of execution of the poet. Also this day displays of videofilms "The Leningrad case. Nikolay Gumilev " (the author of project is Bella Kurkova, director is Galina Jasnogorodskaja, 2001); "The African hunting" (director is I.Alimpiev,1988); "Āriadna" (director is L. Shacht, 1989)will be demonstrated. The same day some actions, organized in common with the museum of Anna Ahmatova and and the research centre "Memorial" will be held.

Nikolay Gumilev was shooted presumably August, 24 or 25 somewhere in area of station Berngardovka near Petrograd, in a valley of the river Lub'ja.

Nikolay Stepanovich have been killed at the peak of his powers; each new collection of his poems was a new side of his creativity, new top, won by him, and it is not known, what heights would be reached with Russian poetry if Petrograd Emergency Situations Comission has not exterminated Gumilev. He has died as courageously, as he lived.
