September, 29 the final concert of season 2002 "Music of the Summer garden", dated for the Day of the old is held

Project is one of the directions of the Northwest Bank, the Savings Bank of Russia and the museum complex "Peter the Great’s Summer garden and palace-museum" cooperation. The musical program revives existing from the end of XIX century for 70-s years of XX century tradition of military orchestras performance in gardens and parks of city.

The incorporated staff of the brass band of the General Staff of the Leningrad military district will take part in performance. Musicians will meet visitors of the summer Garden with solemn fanfares and celebratory march-parade. In the performance the classical music loved by the townspeople, the well-known military marches, known melodies of the last years will sound.

The concert of the wind music finishes the cycle of 17 performances. The best musicians of the Leningrad military district have taken part in the program. The project which has received approval of city administration, aroused the great interest of inhabitants and visitors of Northern capital.
