In Saint Petersburg the exhibition, devoted to Day of independence of the Republic Bulgaria, today will open. Action will be carried out with assistance of the Military-historical museum of Pleven (Bulgaria) and the State Hermitage together with General consulate of the Republic Bulgaria.

The presented works were selected on materials of the all-bulgarian competition "Liberation" which has been carried out by the Community of Pleven and the Management of the Pleven Military-historical museum in 2002 in eve of national holiday - Liberation Day of the Republic Bulgaria from a turkish yoke. Hundreds Bulgarian children and pupils in the age from 5 till 15 years from 15 settlements of Bulgaria have taken part in the competition. The Russian section of the exhibition is presented by works of pupils of the International children's academy of arts.
