By Petersburg's 300th Anniversary Celebration the park of modern sculpture was opened on the 21st of October in the yard of  a philological faculty of Saint-Petersburg State University. Sculpture “Thoughts about Small Prince” was the first work to be placed there. Its author – a member of Artists’ Union of Russia, Armenia and UNESCO  Arsen Avetisyan – is well known to Saint-Petersburg citizens  by its sculptural composition “Circus arrived” that is near the building in Fontanka. Nataliya Batozhok,  chairman of the Committee on the Preparation and Organization of St. Petersburg's 300th Anniversary Celebration, Ludmila Verbitskaya, rector of Saint-Petersburg State University and Sergey Bogdanov, dean of  philological faculty of Saint-Petersburg State University took part in the ceremony of  grand opening of the park.
