In the Petersburg military-historical museum of artillery, sappers and signal troops two-days scientific conference "Domestic artillery: the history and the present" has opened. The conference is dated to 620-anniversary of domestic artillery and a 425-anniversary of the Main rocket-artillery management of Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. More than 80 scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tula, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk will tell about reforms in domestic artillery, outstanding artillerymen and artillery education in Russia.
