The state museum of history of Saint Petersburg, State museum-exhibition centre ROSIZO and the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation will carry out in the Engineering house of the Peter and Paul Fortress the exhibition "Painted photo in Russia. 1850 - 1950".

The exhibition acquaints with collection of Moscow collector Michael Golosovsky. It is the largest in the country private photo collection. The exposition covers 100 years of history of the Russian painted photo. Portraits, landscapes, still-lives, ethnographic photos are presented. Works are realized in difficult print and painting techniques. The exhibition includes 50 works of both known, and forgotten nowadays authors. The exhibition will work till March, 5.
