The "Cannon Dance" school will host the 4th International Jazz-dance and Music Festival. The festival will be held from the 25th February to 1st March 2003. First organized four years ago this festival has become an important educational and cultural event in the life of Saint-Petersburg. This year "Cannon Dance" school will be running muster classes on percussion and different styles of classical jazz dance. Broadway jazz and classical musicl will be taught by the famous Broadway dancer and choreographer Marcus Galante. Janine Loringette(France) will give master classes on funky jazz and classical jazz. Jan Ostem(Sweden) will teach young Russian dancers to express themselves in theatrical dance.

The organisers of the festival emphasize that their main aim is to support the development of contemporary dance in Sain-Petersburg and in Russia in general.
