Swedish-Russian printed graphic art exhibition opened on Saturday in St. Petersburg

Swedish poster for film An exhibition of printed graphic art entitled "Swedish-Russian Art Club" opened on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Jam Hall Gallery.

This exhibition is a part of the Swedish Week in St. Petersburg and presents a joint project of Russian and Swedish artists. All the exhibited works demonstrate the way how traditional printing techniques can be combined with computer technology. The main theme of the exhibition is the classical production of Swedish topography of the 17th century - "Suecis Antiqua et Hodierna". The works of such Swedish authors as Gunnar Nels, Pontus Paud and St. Petersburg artists have much in common, due to the use of the latest polygraphic technologies.The exhibition will run through May 20.
