The International Jazz Festival will be held in St. Petersburg on July 24-27

According to the festival’s Organizing Committee headed by the St. Petersburg composer Andrei Petrov, the festival was included into the Program of Jubilee Events in Honor of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg. Within the framework of the festival, concerts of Russian, European and American jazz musicians will be held on the city’s open stages for three days. The stages will be installed in the city’s historical center. In addition, live broadcasting is planned. The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on July 24 on the Neva Embankment, near the Bronze Horseman. Famous Scandinavian performers will sing and play in the courtyard of the Capella, on the steps of the Engineering Castle and in the Summer garden. The closing ceremony of the festival will take place on July 27 in Izmailovsky garden. Concerts will also be held in several jazz clubs of the city.

The Gala Concert of the Baltic-Jazz festival will take place on the beach near the Peter and Paul Fortress. This will be the central event of the festival, with the best performers and the best technical equipment of the stage. The jazz festival will end by great fireworks along the Neva to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the city.
