According to ABNews reporter in Foreign Relations Committee of St. Petersburg Administration, culture relationships between China and our city have been actively developed since 1986. As striking example of this development could served Shanghai International Festival of Child Arts, concert tour of the Music-Hall and Mariinsky Theatre in Shanghai as well as Days of Chinese Culture in Russia. China Days in St. Petersburg proves to be one more holiday for citizens, which would embellish the city. This action contributes to the consolidation of friendly relations between our countries, to the development of the further culture exchange and mutual understanding between two nations. Besides it’s an extra opportunity for all citizens and guests of our city to get more acquainted with the centuries-old Orient culture.

In the context of the festival are scheduled: performance of world-known art and music Chinese collectives –the State Orchestra of Folk Chinese Music and Guandun Circus Group, the photo exhibition “ World Cultural and Natural Heritage of China”, fashion show of Chinese historical clothing in the Central Exhibition Room “Manege” etc.
