Last spring the president of Indonesia – Megavati Sukarnoputry visited the North Capital and gifted to the city a sculptured figure of the legendary bird- Garuda- a symbol of Indonesian majesty and invincibility. This time the meeting with arts and traditions of the country is to serve as a present to St. Petersburg’s citizens and guests.

In the context of this action will take place the exhibition of Indonesian goods, folk masters articles, the demonstration of traditional wedding garments of Indonesian peoples, the exposition of advertising materials and tourist industry of the country and the performance of national sings, dances and music masters.
