Conference on the Jewish music started in St. Petersburg The conference “Jewish professional music in Russia. Formation and development” started in St. Petersburg. Its organisers are the Jewish Community Centre and the Russian Institute of Arts’ History. In the conference dedicated to the memory of the composer and conductor Moses Milner (1886-1953) take part the students, post-graduate students and musicologists from Russia, the USA, Israel, Ukraine, Latvia and Byelorussia.
