On March 2-9 Saint Petersburg Cinema Museum and the General Council of Italy present the programme of the Italian Festival N.I.C.E. 2003-2004 in Dom Kino.
At the end of the last year N.I.C.E. was in New York and San Francisco. The programme includes 8 films released in the country for the recent two years and selected by the competent commission. Films’ creators also will come. N.I.C.E. is interpreted as "New cinema of Italy". N.I.C.E. is engaged in presenting new Italian producers’ works around the world. Since 1998 "New Cinema of Italy" has been regularly shown in the cow State Cinema Museum and last year the festival programme was first shown in Saint Petersburg thanks to the efforts of the Saint Petersburg cinema Museum and The Council of Italy in Saint Petersburg.
This festival was traditionally opened by the classic film. This time that was the completely restored version of "Dolce Vita " by Federico Fellini which was presented by the MEDIASET company, specializing in reviving cinema masterpieces.
