IV Open competition among young choreographers of modern dance will take place in Saint-Petersburg’s club Cannon Dance on 18, 19 March. Three nominations will be represented in competition, such as Modern, Jazz and Experiment. At the end of competition there will be a concert held on 20 March .

In competition will be shown the best 23 works of young choreographers aged between 14 and 26 among whom are Saint-Petersburgers, and those who came from Ufa, Kiev, Fryazino, Ekaterinburg, Kostroma and Yaroslavl. The main goal of the event is to find the pearls of modern dance and to support them as well as to help them to improve their skills. The competition is dedicated to create a strong school of modern dance in Russia, reach of various trends and new bright personalities having an individual style, technique and original creative conceptions. Winners will have an opportunity of free education in international festivals of modern dance.
