The St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic

st_petersburg_chamber_philharmonic The St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic announces its opening concert of the 2004-2005 concert season conducted by its Artistic Director, Jeffery Meyer (USA) and featuring world-renown soloist Oskar Espina Ruiz (Spain), clarinet.

The concert will feature works by Basque composers from the last two centuries, most of which have never been performed in Russia, as well as one world premiere.

The St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic, founded in 2002 in honor of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg, is a young and exciting chamber orchestra dedicated to presenting contemporary American and Russian music, as well as masterpieces of the standard classical repertoire, in unforgettable and unique concert experiences.
