On June 1, 2007, JSC "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines" starts regular flights from St. Petersburg to Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. Flights from the northern capital to German cities and back will be implemented on Airbus À 319/320/321 aircraft.

SU2511 departure from St. Petersburg to Munich on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 09:45 (Saturday 10:05), arrival at 10:45 (11:05). Back flight SU2512 from Munich to St. Petersburg at 12:00, arrival at 16:50.

SU2531 departure from St. Petersburg to Berlin on Mondays and Thursdays at 09:45, arrival at 10:10. Back flight SU2532 from Berlin to St. Petersburg at 12:30, arrival at 16:50.

SU2551 departure from St. Petersburg to Hamburg on Tuesdays and Fridays at 09:45, arrival at 10:10. Back flight SU2552 to St. Petersburg to Hamburg at 12:30, arrival at 16:50 (local time).

Aeroflot considers expansion of its activities in St. Petersburg as one of priority directions of development. The decision about regular flights from St. Petersburg is due to growing influence of the city on the Neva River as one of the most important tourist, cultural, business and political centers of Russia, and necessity to enhance competitiveness of Russian air carriers in St. Petersburg air junction. Flights to the largest German airports from St. Petersburg and Moscow allow foreign tourists to use Aeroflot flights on the most popular tourist route. Aeroflot subsidiary in St. Petersburg established in 2006 with support of the local administration actively participates in flights provision. In future qualified local flight staff is planned to form flight crews.

With respect to priority development of tourism in St. Petersburg in 2008 Aeroflot plans to resume regular flights from St. Petersburg to North America and Japan.
