Rodger Waters, the founder of the legendary Pink Floyd is going to give a concert in Palace Square, Saint Petersburg, on June 6 in the framework of the 12th International Economic Forum.
"The Dark Side Of The Moon" concert will be accompanied with a spectacular show using advanced large-scale video projections and special effects for the feeling of complete immersion in sound, as well as spectacular 3D effects.
A theatrical performance will be running on the stage. Light and stage design is carried out by Group F of Mark Fisher, who is known as the designer of Waters’ famous show The Wall in Berlin 1990, as well as of the opening and the final ceremony of Turin Winter Olympic Gamed in Italy.
Presently the show preparation works for Petersburg specially are under way. Pink Floyd’s best hits are on the bill.
Rodger Waters’ show is a present from the city government and organizers of the International Economic Forum to the dwellers and guests of St. Petersburg and so the admission is free. Yet a limited number of VIP tickets are available for those eager to find themselves closer to the stage.
The show is expected to start at 9 pm and last for three hours.
