From 26 to 28 September the Second International Festival of Comics BOOM-2008 will be taking place in the New Exhibition Hall of City Sculpture Museum, St. Petersburg.

The organizers have prepared an extensive programme with meetings, workshops, lectures and performances, Russian and foreign authors partaking in all the events.

Comics’ artists will also participate in the competition on the subject of “Home”. The best of the sent works will be exhibited at one of the numerous venues of the festival.

The first Comics BOOM was held in September 2007. This year the festival is dedicated to the «Comics small press».
