To St. Petersburg Capella will be brought the violin of Antonio Stradivari

violin The unique classical music concert will be held at the State Academic Capella in St. Petersburg on May 21 at 07.00PM.

This evening the Brahms' Violin Concert will be performed on an exclusive historic instrument.

Especially for the concert the famous American violinist Michael Antonello will bring the violin of Stradivari work.

For many years Antonello was dreaming about purchasing a Stradivari violin, which was created in the best time of the master, and waited for the right moment. And as soon as one of the most valuable violins the Kremon's master work, called the Ex-Rochester, has become available, he bought it. The instrument was made in 1720, when Stradivari was 76 years old, and he was in the prime creative force. The first 100 years of history of the violin are not known, but in 1820 (in Rochester, England), each owner can be traced down to Antonello.
