Saint Petersburg concert of the German band Tokio Hotel planned for March 8 was wrecked, the band’s official website informs.
Local organizers considerably transgressed the contract, the report reads, and so the concert in Saint Petersburg was “unreasonable”.
“The band did their best to make the concert happen, but all in vain. We terribly sympathize with the fans, but the situation gave us no other option” – the message on the website underlines.
Meanwhile, the fans who gathered for the concert were explained that one of the band members had fallen ill. The fans expressed their upset and frustration about the cancellation of te concert quite emotionally, as eyewitnesses mention in their blogs.
According to preliminary data, the concert in Moscow will nevertheless take place on March 10. As the Topconcert company – the organizer of Tokio Hotel’s tour in Russia – tickets for Saint Petersburg concert will be valid for the concert in Moscow.
