Restored house museum of the great Russian opera singer Feodor Chaliapin has been reopen at the address 2B, Graftio Street, Saint Petersburg.
The museum has been repaired and restored and equipped with new museum facilities.
Chaliapin House Museum in Saint Petersburg is the first Russian museum dedicated to the singer. It was first open on 11 April 1975 and closed for repair in 2008.
Feodor Chaliapin lived in this house from 1914 to 1922, and from here he moved abroad, having left the apartment and property to the care of his secretary.
The museum funds encompass 450 thousand units.
