17 September at Palazzo Chigi the State Secretary to the Council Presidency, Graziano Delrio, and the State Secretary to Economy and Finances, Pier Paolo Baretta , received the General Director of the State Herrmitage Museum of St. Petersburg, prof. Mikhail Pitrovsky.
The meeting, held in the name of the collaboration that the largest Museum of Russia -with its presence in our country in Venice with Ermitage Italia- is interweaving with the main cultural Institutions and Italian cities.
Thanks to the Protocols signed along these years it has been possible to realize important exhibitions, scholarships and pubblications. The intention expressed by the representants of the Italian Government and by the Russian Museum is to keep on working profitably and with success on projects of cooperation.
The meeting was attended by: Graziano Delrio, State Segretary to the Council Pesidency Pier Paolo Baretta, State Secretary to Economy and Finances, Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage Museum, and Maurizio Cecconi, Hermitage Italia.
